Salalah Free Zone joins with Oman Air and Salalah Port

Salalah's seaport location is unique, it sits on the Arabian coastline between Asia and Africa. A strategic trading location that goes back for many centuries. Salalah Free Zone - setup to attract foreign investors - has joined forces with Oman air and Salalah port to reduce transit times between Asia and Europe up-to 48 hours. Handling charges are expected to drop by 20 percent, or USD 0.15 cents per kilo combining sea, land and air transport.
